Last weekend we took a quick trip to CA. Grandma had sent us a letter encouraging us to come out and use our Disney passes and so we decided rather last minute to drop everything and go. We left on Sat. morning and arrived home Wed afternoon.
Sunday was our cousin Blaine's Primary Program and so we had the chance to see him sing a solo part to "I'm Trying to be like Jesus." After church, we all had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house and the kids finished building Grandma's new Lego set Diagon Alley. Monday and Tuesday we played with Grandma at Disneyland.
Going to Disney during off times is the best way to go. There are no lines and if you do have to wait for something it is usually no longer then 15-20 minutes. On Tuesday Blaine, Ty and Cindy joined us. It was fun to watch the kids rock out to the Phineus and Ferb's dance party, race through Tower of Terror, and run from ride to ride. What a great way to end a year of fun. Thanks Grandma for inspiring us to take some time off and play.
