Aliso Creek Tidepools

Our last day in California was spent down at the tidepools with Aunt Rachel and our cousin Blaine.
I love that there are beaches in Southern California that are still protected.
Most of the wetlands and beaches have been built up and modernized, so finding those few that have remained in their natural state is a rarity.
I can't think of a more beautiful way to end our trip.

Arizona, California, Arizona, California. . . We just can't decide?????

After a much needed break in California, we returned to Arizona with our nephew Blaine. My sister Cindy has been on total bedrest and so we thought that we would take Blaine for a week to give Cindy a break and allow Jake and Joe to have a built in friend.

During the week Blaine was with us our friends the Bunkers came over for a day. Their kids are as crazy and creative as my kids are and so Carlee and I enjoyed a fun filled evening of comedy sketches staring our children. (Do you like Joey's coyote costume?)
My kids tend to get up with the sun. Unfortunately for me that means that they are up between 5 and 6 am. The good news is that I am usually able to sleep in as long as I can block out the Wii, Computer, and screaming kids running around.

Here they are playing a riviting game of Go Fish.

One of the fun things about living in Tucson are all the museums and places to visit. We bought a family pass to the Children's Museum which Jake and Joe are really excited about and so we brought Blane with us to check out the place. I think they all had a great time.

My brother in law Jake was scheduled to come pick Blaine up in Phoenix on Wednesday the 7th when a surprise Amnio was scheduled by Cindy's doctor and she ended up going into the hospital Wednesday morning to have a baby. We wanted to get Blaine home to see his new little brother, so Wednesday morning Cindy went into the hospital and we piled into the van to take Blaine back to California.

Cindy had her baby, Yipppeeeee!!!!

Cute little Ty Brennen Robinson was born Wednesday July 7th
6 lbs 15 oz 19 inches long

The doctors were worried about Ty's lung development and so he has been in the NICU for observation. So far everything looks great and he should be able to head home in a few days.
Being back in California has been wonderful for both me and the kids. We went to Huntington Beach on Thursday to meet up with my friend Brynne. Between my sister Cindy, my mom, Brynne, and then Chad's encouragement we have decided to extend our visit until next Thursday. We love being here and Chad has a really crazy schedule right now so it will be nice to stay and enjoy going to the beach and hanging out with family.
Cute kids. . .

Loosing Joshua has been an overwhelming challenge. With each new day things are getting a little better. I am so grateful to have 4 cute kids, an amazing husband, wonderful friends and an incredibly supportive family. Knowing that eternal families are a part of God's plan for each of us gives me comfort. I am so grateful for the Savior, His atoning sacrifice, and ressurection. Without Him there would be no hope, but with Him there is light and life, and peace. Thank you again for all of your continuing prayers and words of kindness. We love you all.
