Following in the footsteps of my younger but very fun and intelligent little sister. I have decided to start my own adventure days here in Tucson. We have only been here 2 months, so I figure we have a lot of exploring to do.
Today was the Tucson Zoo's birthday. With free admission to the park, there really isn't a better way to check things out. We called up some new friends and convinced them to come along with us.
This zoo is definitely not the St. Louis Zoo, but it's fun and the boys seemed to enjoy themselves. Joey and Isaac (Joe's little buddy) had more fun chasing the peacocks and looking at random birds and squirrels then hunting for the really COOL animals hiding in their habitats. Oh, well, maybe next time. Just goes to show that sometimes the best zoos are right in your backyard.
