Neighborhood Progressive Dinner

We have been blessed to live in a beautiful community for the past 5 and a half years.  A little over 2 years ago we moved a mile and a half from our first home to a new housing tract within our community.  This neighborhood has been incredible.  Even the builders, workers, and customer service reps have said there is something unique about the people in our neighborhood.  It's almost like stepping back in time.  We have block parties, kids play together in the streets, and neighbors know and care about one another.  For me it feels a lot like living on base or in college housing.  Needless to say, we love it here.

At Christmas time some families on our street organized a progressive dinner.  We went to three homes (ours being one of them) and had appetizers, a meal, and dessert.  We all had a blast together eating and playing outside on what turned out to be a beautiful winter evening.
