So we are finally back to reality again. Our trip to Arizona to visit my sister Karen and my Grandparents, became an extended trip to CA. Needless to say, we are having a lot of fun so far this summer. In Arizona we were able to experience Karen's neighborhood clubhouse/waterpark. Talk about fun. The kids had a blast going down waterslides and running through spraying hoses. Oh ya, there is a pool there too.
Then off to see my Grandma and Grandpa Brown. Grandpa isn't doing so good these days. His lungs have decided not to work as well as they used to, but you would never know it from the pictures we took. He is as happy as he's ever been, and I think satisfied with life. On to California to visit my mom and dad and play play play. On day one, we went to the beach and Boomers. Day two Grandma and Grandpa were throwing a party for the old ward bishopric, Day three was church, father's day, and I had two sisters, and a brother stop in to say hi to dad. Day four, we went to Legoland. (The highlight of Jake's trip). Jake carried around the legoland map for the next week, showing everyone who had a minute exactly which rides he went on and which ones he plans to ride next year when he's a little bit taller. Day five we went to the pool and hung out with Aunt Cindy. Day Six Grandma took the kids to Surf's Up and I think we did some shopping. Day Seven we returned what we bought, went to the pool with friends, and to Chuck E Cheese to finish off the day. Day Eight we drove 15 hours home. As you can see it was a lot more fun then staying in Clovis.
Well it's back to the real world, back to mom attempting a new weight loss plan, and back to responsibility. Not to bad a way to start the summer. Now it's time for art lessons, swimming, golf, friends, and fun until the next trip. I'll write again soon.
