Dancing at "Relay for Life"

The girls (Rebecca and Sara) had a performance last week at the "Relay for Life" event held at Ned HoukPark. My pre-teen jazz class did the Vogue number that we've been working on in class, and both Rebecca and Sara performed a tap dance that they were doing in their tap class. Only five classes performed at the event, so it was neat that both girls were able to participate. Just so you understand. . . the conditions these girls danced in were awful. It was 39 degrees outside and the wind was blowing like crazy. The constant wind was around 25-30 mph but the gusts were well over 50 mph. To add to it all, the girls were wearing tanktops, or short dresses and the ones in my jazz class had just learned the last 8 sets of 8 counts the Tuesday before in class. I'm proud of them and especially my cute little 6 and 8 year old divas (Rebecca and Sara).
