So, since Jake has been so lucky, I guess it was his turn. He stubbed his toe about a week ago, and then jammed it again on Friday night. Well I was gone all day Saturday, but Saturday night he woke up twice complaining that his toe hurt. We gave him Motrin and sent him back to bed. Sunday morning we looked at it again and realized that the swelling hadn't gone down, and in fact it looked worse. Turns out he has an infection. So, he is now on antibiotics. I felt so bad watching him try to limp or crawl around the house because his toe hurt him so badly. I guess I spoke to soon. I hope his foot gets better quickly. Poor kid.

Oh dear. We've definitely gone through phases where it seemed like everyone was sick (including us). Hopefully, this too shall pass.
When it rains it pours? Is that how the saying goes? I hope everyone gets feeling better, and I love your new picture at the top.
